The Albert Schweitzer Fellowship is dedicated to training the next generation of professionals to serve and empower vulnerable people to build healthier communities and live healthier lives.
Racism
As part of our response to Black Lives Matter, in mid-2020, ASFHG made racism an official health track. We concur with the ~20 states that have declared racism to be a serious public health issue. We have encouraged fellows to incorporate the teaching of anti-racism in their current projects or choose that work as the primary focus of their projects. We look forward to our first anti-racism projects to commence in 2021.
